My Normal Childhood

We wonder what Luke will remember, and how he'll be different, with us living in a high rise now. The things he'll consider normal.

A normal garage holds 200 cars and has employees.

A normal dwelling has elevators and a door staff.

A normal street is jammed with cars and buses.

A normal neighborhood has commuter trains running through it every few minutes.

A normal building has carts to get your stuff from your car to your door. And a normal kid gets to ride with the groceries.

(Kirsten shot these on her cell phone.)

UPDATE, from Nancy: A normal kid puts trash down a chute, not into cans to take to the curb.

add this one, normal kids don't have to help put out the trash cans at the curb once a week for pick up.

Nancy: Good one! I'm putting that one up in the post.

Amanda: No pressure to update your book reviews. (Ok, just a little pressure! ;-)

So, it would seem that one brother in law is getting far more attention than the other one. Which means someone is not making it about me. Which is confusing and disappointing.
