On My Own: Day 3
Jim has been down in the depths of the New York City transit tunnels for the last few days. His client is installing software into over 200 elevators. Jim played a key role in developing it and he needs to be onsite to help troubleshoot. (Honey, correct me if I'm wrong here....) The system is going to allow phone access to the elevators in the subway system, which is particularly crucial during emergency situations. Cool, eh?
So...I've been on my own with both kids for the last few days. Luckily the kids have timed their needy moments quite nicely and I only forgot Rebekah in the car once (Judy caugh it moments later once again we overted Children's Services). Thankfully Jim's on his way home soon. I miss Jim the most when it's time to lock the doors and turn off the lights. It creeps me out.
I haven't posted in a while, so here are a few of my favorite shots from the last few weeks:
Mom, Jonathan and Luke at the zoo
Rebekah in my old sweater
Baby of Frankenstein sleeping...
Luke and his new fire engine bed the first week. (He's a little higher up the learning curve now.)
Making Luke laugh while we waited for our pancakes to arrive
