Where'd he go?

So I'm at my computer at night and I hear rustle, bump, moan from Luke's room. Then silence.

I investigate.



Strange. His fire engine bed is empty.

Where is he?



Oh, there he is.

It didn't even wake him up.

I don't think we'll be getting a bunk bed any time soon.

Uncle Pete's Visit

Uncle Pete came all the way from Okinawa, Japan for a post-Christmas visit. The kids loved hanging out with him for a couple days. It was GREAT seeing him!

Pete is serving in the Navy as a Chaplain on the marine base in Okinawa. He taught Luke a few words in Japanese and entertained us with some pretty funny stories of interactions he's had with the island natives. If you know him, ask him some time to tell you the story about Martin Luther King Day.
